    A Roman, Longobard, Patriarchal and Veneto city these are the four different faces of Cividale, which visitors can still admire today in an unforgettable journey through time.

  • The Cathedral

    The luminous façade, in white stone and Gothic-Venetian style, of the imposing basilica of Virgin Mary’s Assumption shows the signs of its construction time: the building began in the 16th century and went on up to the 19th century.
  • Piazza del Duomo

    Centro della città, sulla piazza si affacciano le più rappresentative testimonianze dell’architettura risalenti all’epoca del dominio della Serenissima: palazzo de Nordis, Palazzo dei Provveditori Veneti, il Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta.
    All’estremità ovest della Piazza si trova lo stendardo cittadino, qui collocato nel 1740.
